The Leupold DeltaPoint Pro is Made in the USA with a lifetime warranty and genuinely outstanding glass. It’s priced similarly to the SCS. The wider field of view and multi-platform compatibility give it an edge if you want one optic across several guns. Downside? The single-button controls drove me nuts. No solar. Battery life without motion sensor management is short.
The Vortex Defender-ST costs the least and comes with Vortex’s VIP warranty, which is one of the best in the business. Motion activation, NV compatible, 25,000-hour battery life.
